Sitharaman Inaugurates New CGST Bhawan
New Delhi, Oct 24 (UNI) union Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today inaugurated the newly-constructed Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) Bhawan in Ghaziabad. Describing the new complex as a symbol of modern India's commitment to good governance, Sitharaman said, "New CGST Bhawan, Ghaziabad, is a symbol of modern India’s commitment to good governance - where infrastructure meets innovation and efficiency aligns with empathy." Sitharaman emphasized the need for next-generation revenue infrastructure to work in tune with next-generation taxation.
