Pay Rent In Cash Only’: Bengaluru PG Refuses Online Payment Without Added ‘12% GST’

From openly threatening anyone and everyone to casually breaking laws on a daily basis without a single worry over their legal consequences, social media has seen far too many videos and whatnot to leave the public in general concerned. Something similar was witnessed in this Bengaluru case as well. Taking to Reddit, a man shared a rather problematic notice stuck on a Bengaluru PG’s wall. As per the notice, the occupants of the PG were allowed to pay their rents in ‘cash only’. As per the notice, an online payment would lead to an added payment of ‘12 per cent GST’.
As soon as the picture of the same began to circulate online, netizens started reacting. Most advised the Redditor to take some legal action, while some pointed out the importance of stricter rules and punishments for such casual law breakers.
