NIC Launches New API Features for Cross-Portal Access in E-Invoice and E-Way Bill Systems

The NIC has released new API features for e-Invoice and e-Way Bill interoperable services. Now, authentication tokens and services can be accessed across different portals. APIs enable cross-portal operations like generating and canceling IRNs and e-Waybills. Additional error codes and header parameters have been introduced for specific functionalities. Developers are advised to test these APIs in the sandbox environment before deploying them in production. Detailed API specifications and testing URLs are available on the NIC sandbox portal.
