Maruti Suzuki to reply to Rajasthan GST authority show cause notice
The company in its regulatory filings revealed that the company has been issued a show cause notice (SCN), for the period of April 2019 to March 2020 on account of reconciliation of tax returns filed by the company.
The GST department of Rajasthan has mentioned a total amount of INR3.1 lakh. In revert to the Show Cause Notice (SCN) the company plans to file a reply.
Maruti Suzuki also received a directive dated March 14, 2024 from the Office of the Commissioner of Customs in Nhava Sheva which pertains to alleged violations related to the classification of imported items and to pay INR 27.87 lakh for differences in tax amounts, fines, and penalties.
