Manipur to Introduce GST Amendment Bill in Assembly Session
The Manipur government will present the Manipur Goods and Services Tax 6th Amendment Bill, 2024, in the upcoming assembly session, focusing on amending the states GST laws. The session, scheduled from February 28 to March 5, will also include discussions on budget-related matters, reports from the Comptroller and Auditor General of India, and the budget estimates for 2024-25.
Imphal, February 24: The Manipur government has decided to introduce an amendment bill related to the Goods and Services Tax (GST) in the upcoming assembly session, which is scheduled to commence on February 28. The decision was made during a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister N. Biren Singh, as announced by state Information and Public Relations Minister Sapam Ranjan.
