Increase in Special Additional Excise Duty on high speed diesel oil w.e.f. January 3, 2023

The CBIC vide Notification No. 02/2023-Central Excise dated January 2, 2023 has issued amendments in its earlier Notification No. 4/2022-Central Excise dated June 30, 2022 (“NN. 4”) which reduced the Special Additional Excise Duty for exports of petrol and diesel, in order to further increase the Special Additional Excise Duty on High speed diesel oil, w.e.f. January 3, 2023, in a following manner:
