Gujarat Assembly passes GST Amendment Bill 2025
The Gujarat Assembly on the second day of the Monsoon Session passed The Gujarat Goods and Services Tax (Second Amendment) Bill, 2025 to replace the Gujarat Goods and Services Tax (Second Amendment) Ordinance, 2025.
The ordinance was promulgated to give effect to multiple decisions taken in the 55th meeting of the Goods and Services Tax Council since the Assembly was not in session. Presented by Finance Minister Kanubhai Desai, the Bill replacing the ordinance with an act was passed unanimously in the House.
