GSTAT Portal Enables Document Upload & Checklist Access Before Court Fee Payment

The GSTAT portal has now been updated to allow access to the “Upload Document” and “Checklist” features prior to the payment of court fees. This is a significant improvement, as earlier the system restricted document uploads until fee payment was completed—causing practical challenges during appeal filing.

Notably, the Marwar GST Bar Association, through its representation dated 29.01.2026, had highlighted these operational difficulties. It is encouraging to see that the issue has been duly considered and necessary changes have now been implemented.
