GST department becomes hi-tech, trucks will be monitored from toll plaza

With regard to tax evasion, the eyes of the GST department have turned on the entrepreneurs who evade tax. The GST department is starting a campaign to prevent tax evasion through hi-tech technology. Now trucks passing through toll plazas will be prevented from huge tax evasion through technology. Sitting at the headquarters, the officers of the department will easily get information about where a truck is going from where and what goods have been loaded in the truck.

 

The GST department is starting a campaign on pan masala betel nut and its packaging material. The main weapon in this campaign will be toll plazas. Which will reach the number system of the truck and the system will tell in which truck, when, and where the goods are going. The pan masala business has suddenly again come under the attention of the tax collection department. After the action on packaging companies in Delhi, a very strict vigil is being kept on the pan masala business.

 

The officials will also get information about which toll plaza the truck has passed through. It will also be known where the goods are coming from. In the next one month, the tax officers have to check all the trucks of goods related to pan masala business and also verify their e-way bills. so that they cannot be used again. Many a times businessmen evade by sending goods twice on the same e-way bill. It is the exercise of the GST Department that the evasion of big tax evaders can be caught through state-of-the-art techniques.
