FTCCI urges Telangana govt to raise GST registration threshold to Rs 40 lakh
Hyderabad, Nov 18 (UNI)The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) has called on the Telangana government to increase the GST registration threshold from Rs 20 lakh to Rs 40 lakh, aligning with other states in India.
FTCCI President Suresh Kumar Singhal emphasised that Telangana remains the only state maintaining the Rs 20 lakh limit, urging the government to address this long-pending demand, particularly to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The demand was raised during an open house interactive meeting on GST, organised by FTCCI's GST & Customs Committee on Monday.
