Flair Writing Industries faces Rs.3.28 cr tax demand from GST authorities
Flair Writing Industries Limited has received order under Section 74 from Office of the Commissioner, Central GST, Daman Commissionerate, according the company's exchange filing. The order relates to an amount aggregating to Rs. 3,28,84,859/- (which includes tax- Rs. 12,58,926/- and penalty Rs. 3,16,25,933/-) for the period July 2017 to September 2020.
The Company submitted document after receiving the Show-Cause notice on March 30, 2023. The Company is likely to challenge the demand order before the appellate authority. "The Company will file an appeal challenging the same based on strong merits by way of filing its reply/ submissions, before the relevant authorities," Flair Writing said in the exchange filing.
The disclosure to the exchange was made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
