Extension of GSTR-3B Filing Deadline for Murshidabad, West Bengal

The CBIC has issued Notification No. 30/2024–Central Tax, dated December 10, 2024, extending the due date for filing GSTR-3B returns for October 2024. This extension, applicable to registered taxpayers in Murshidabad, West Bengal, moves the deadline to 11th December 2024. The notification, issued under Section 39(6) of the CGST Act, 2017, and Rule 61(1), is based on the GST Council's recommendation. It is effective retroactively from 20th November 2024.
