Chd GST collection up by 20% this Nov
Chandigarh: The goods and services tax (GST) collection saw a 20% increase in Nov, 2024 as compared to the corresponding period in the last year. The collection for Nov, 2024 stood at Rs 253 crore, while it was Rs 210 crore in Nov, 2023. The GST collection saw a 16% increase in Oct 2024 than last year.
Cell phone snatched in Shastri Nagar
Chandigarh: A resident of Sector 26 was robbed of his mobile phone by an unidentified individual in Shastri Nagar on Monday evening. Mohd Faisal was going from Manimajra to Bapudham Colony around 8.35pm when the incident took place. The accused, riding a two-wheeler, slowed down near Faisal, looked at him, and fled after snatching his mobile phone
Chairperson of PU’s UIPS honoured
Chandigarh: The Indian Pharmacological Society (IPS) has conferred the Dr Lalitha Kameshwaran Oration Award to Dr Anil Kumar, Prof and chairperson at the University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), Panjab University, Chandigarh. The award was conferred during the 54th Annual Conference of the Indian Pharmacological Society (IPS) held at AIIMS, New Delhi.
