Bank enables payment of GST through UPI
Mangaluru: Karnataka Bank has gone live in accepting GST payments through UPI. All the GST-registered users, including Karnataka Bank customers, can make GST payments seamlessly under this facility.
Karnataka Bank is already accepting GST payments through branches and the internet banking facility on behalf of CBIC. The maximum limit permitted under the UPI mode is Rs 1 lakh, and there is no upper limit in the internet banking facility for GST payments.
Bank customers are also enjoying seamless payments for Custom Duty Payments and Direct Taxes payments through the branches and internet banking facility.
Srikrishnan H, managing director & CEO, said, “This is yet another important step towards digitising our services to provide a secure online mode of payment. Our GST services offer ease and convenience to businesses and consumers for timely payment of their GST obligations.”
